A 365-acre ridge above Pembroke, Virginia, with a 2022 home that feels more like a private lodge than a residence. Forest, fields, a mountain stream, and a hot tub under black sky stars. The kind of property you don’t just tour – you commit to. The kind that redefines ho…

Tucked into the ridges above Pembroke, this 5-bedroom, 4-bath home feels like a modern lodge at the edge of the wild. Built in 2022, it pairs clean, current finishes with a floor plan designed for real, everyday living: a chef’s kitchen, a true home office, a generous primary suite, and a mudroom that acknowledges boots, dogs, and weather are part of life here. Large windows pull in mountain light; an alternative wood boiler keeps winters efficient and warm.

Step outside and the scale shifts. Three hundred sixty-five acres roll from open fields to mature forest, stitched together by an internal trail system and anchored by a high-ridge cabin with long-range views. A mountain stream, direct connection to Jefferson National Forest, and nearby New River and trailheads turn this into a long-term base for hunting, hiking, or quiet land stewardship. It’s private, but still within reach of Blacksburg, Roanoke, and the rest of the world.
