When Sarah heard about a secret bath-time game, love and suspicion collided, leaving her desperate to understand what happened behind that closed door. The next evening, she stepped inside without warning, and the sight before her revealed something she had never once imag…
George looked up, startled, with a mountain of bubbles balanced on his chin. Beside him sat a rubber duck wearing a tiny washcloth cape. Emily burst into laughter.

The mystery was harmless, but the worry that had brought her there deserved more than an embarrassed apology.
Later, Sarah explained why Emily’s description had frightened her, especially the suggestion that telling would spoil their fun. George listened quietly. He had meant to preserve a surprise, never to discourage Emily from speaking.
Together, they agreed: no games depended on keeping anything from Mom or Dad. Bath-time comedy could continue without secrecy. Watching them laugh again, Sarah understood that love and vigilance were not enemies.
Trust could hold room for questions—and grow stronger through honest answers.
